Rights and Duties is a cycle of seminars directed to asylum seekers and refugees who have already experienced the Italian job market and have a good knowledge of the language. The seminars address the topic of workers’ rights and duties in the Italian context, and provide information about the existing services for workers, such as the patronage institutions. Through a workshop and dialogic methodology, during the meetings we discuss the functioning of companies, the different typologies of contract, the right behaviour one should have in the working place, but also how to assert one’s rights and protect oneself from abuses.

 

The seminars see the participation of people from the local trade unions, who deepen the different thematic focuses, as well as of company owners who have experience concerning work and interculturality.
